Vesta T. Washington is an Adjunct Professor at Metropolitan College of New York where she received both her Bachelor degree in Professional Studies and Masters in Public Administration. She is committed to higher education and academic excellence as she enjoys guiding adult students through the process of acquiring knowledge to be effective human services professionals. Additionally, she has over twenty years of non-profit experience and is equipped with the skills necessary for advancement in the field. As a self-driven individual, Vesta is ready to be a member of Global Tassels in the effort to eradicate global poverty, by providing education to those in needs around the world. Apart from Vesta’s educational, nonprofit and volunteering functions, she also enjoys cooking both West Indian, American and Italian dishes.  She is an avid reader and enjoys authors such as James Patterson, John Grisham, and Dean Koontz to name a few.
