Kyle is currently at St. John’s University enrolled in a combined degree program where he pursued his Bachelors of Science with a focus in Business Management now pursuing his Masters of Business Administration in Business Analytics. He also minors in both Social Justice and International Studies which really is aligned with who he is as a person and his upbringing. Born in the twin-island state of Trinidad and Tobago, Kyle was raised in a home that is deeply rooted in the principles of the Roman Catholic faith. He has always been interested in projects that provide an opportunity to express himself, through his ability to share with others who may be less fortunate. It is through this that once he decided to leave his home country to pursue higher education abroad, he was attracted to St. John’s not only because of its unparalleled track record of success but also with the goals and objectives of the Ozanam Scholars Program at the university. Through this Program, he has been afforded the opportunity to continue his passion for helping people while pursuing his academic career. The Ozanam Scholars Program has also provided a platform for him to chase his quest of one day becoming a global citizen through having the opportunity to work amongst various cultures internationally. At St. John’s, Kyle displays his leadership through his involvement in being a Resident Assistant, Discover New York Peer Leader, Haraya- Pan African Students Coalition Executive Board member and a Caribbean Students Association Executive Board member. In August 2017, Kyle was granted the opportunity to intern with at the United Nations where he focuses on advocacy an area in which he holds a deep passion for.
